BrandNewToi (formerly known as Toi) is a Christian rap artist born & raised in the city of St. Louis, MO. Her sound is shaped by a very unique, storytelling approach; a blend of Christianity and real-life experiences. Since age 9, she’s written, produced, and engineered the majority of her music. Originally, she was influenced by early 90s Hip-Hop music & artists, but that eventually changed.

In 2011, she had a personal encounter with God, got saved, and took a break from creating new music. Shortly after, she was introduced to Christian Hip-Hop by her husband and was heavily impacted by artists such as FLAME & Trip Lee. With new influences and a new lifestyle, in 2012, BrandNewToi made her first debut as a Christian artist, with her first studio album titled, “Bible Study”.

Today, her music echoes a powerful testimony and breaks down how she overcame her past lifestyle, after embracing the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. BrandNewToi recently released an EP titled, “Change Over Currency”, which is an in-depth project that lyrically, illustrates how BrandNewToi now chooses to pursue God and things that please him, rather than money.

As the owner of a newly-established record label: Vivid Core Music; the aim is to create and release Christ-centered music that largely influences anyone it may reach, whether it’s in person or by hearing music released by the label.
